Soul of Theros is the final soul in this cycle of legendary Avatars!
He’s a 6/6 with vigilance for 4WW, just like every other Avatar in the cycle.
Of course, it’s the soul ability that matters:
4WW: Creatures you control get +2/+2 and gain first strike and lifelink until end of turn.
4WW, Exile Soul of Theros from your graveyard: Creatures you control get +2/+2 and gain first strike and lifelink until end of turn.
Essentially, Soul of Theros is quite a powerhouse, easily turning your 1/1 spirit tokens into 3/3’s with lifelink and first strike that can wipe out nearly anything in their path, and making your other creatures even larger.
Honestly, I feel like this is the most solid of all of the Avatars – being able to pay 4WW to make himselfm an 8/8 with vigilance, first strike and lifelink is a little ridiculous – along with powering up the rest of your creatures. The fact you can also flash its soul ability out of the graveyard and counteract an opponent’s swing is devastating, as well.
