power-play

Here we have yet another Conspiracy card. This one begins the game face up in the command zone. It reads: “You are the starting player. If multiple players would be the starting player, one of those players is chosen at random.”

Essentially, this means that if you would not otherwise actually be the starting player, then the actual starting player is chosen at random. In a multi-player game this is particularly interesting, as whoever would ordinarily goes first won’t necessarily go first. It seems more of a chaotic effect than a useful effect, but it could end up being an advantage for whomever decides to play it as their Conspiracy option.
