Force-of-Will-MTG-Judge-Promo

That’s right folks. Force of Will has been confirmed as a new Judge Foil promo. It’s obviously about time! Yes, they will be very, very expensive. But it’s great to see that Wizards has finally reprinted one of the most powerful cards in Magic, and by far the best counter-spell out there. Force of Will has never been on the Reserve List, but its power level has kept it from being reprinted in any pre-constructed deck or any sort of constructed set since. This is the perfect place to reprint it, and I applaud Wizards for doing so. At least there are now new copies of Force of Will out there.

This is the other new Judge Promo I’m excited about. I saw this new art for Hanna, Ship’s Navigator and I loved it! It’s perfect as a Judge Promo, as many judges play Commander heavily. Hanna is a fantastic card that grabs either an artifact or enchantment from your graveyard to your hand. She’s never been super expensive, but foils have always been pricey, and the art by Terese Nielsen on this card is simply gorgeous. Definitely a great one to pick up.

Nekusar, the Mindrazer, Oloro, Ageless Ascetic, and Riku of Two Reflections have also been announced as Judge promos, but they will have their original art. Still, foils of these very popular Commanders are definitely cool. Nekusar, especially, will be highly sought after!

This Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite is quite interesting. Very interesting. At first, I couldn’t figure out what the language was. I thought maybe Sanskrit, but that wasn’t it. It’s actually in Phyrexian. Very flavorful.

Greater-Good-Judge-Promo

Greater Good is a sweet Commander card, used in a wide variety of decks. Great art, and again, another card that will be highly sought after by Commander players. This card can provide some serious draw power, and the “drawback” of discarding three cards is actually not all that bad in most of the decks that run this card.

Sword-of-Feast-and-Famine-Judge-Promo

As much as I love the Hanna and Force of Will reprints, the retro-bordered Sword of Feast and Famine is probably my favorite. They did a similar thing with Sword of Light and Shadow, giving it an “old-school” border as well as making it foil. This sword is one of the most heavily used in Commander and it has tons of Modern, Legacy, and Vintage play-ability. Absolutely love this reprint.

Overall, I love all of the new Judge foil promos. I hope to get my hands on some of them at some point in the future!
